Dis-Chem Pharmacies in Midrand has an opportunity available for a Group Tax Manager to join their team. Main purpose will be to manage various direct and indirect taxes within the group.
Minimum Requirements…
Essential:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Bcom Honours, Mcom or HDipp Tax or CA(SA) with tax experience
- Accounting, Tax, IFRS, Tax administration Act, Income Tax Act
- 5 Years working experience in a similar role
Advantage:
- Merger and acquisition experience
Job Specification…
- Deliver a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframe
- Build relationships and interact with tax advisors to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertise
- Submit income tax and provisional returns
- Manage tax provision and tax compliance process
- Improve processes by developing or implementing best practices
- Manage and coordinate tax audits
- Maintain tax balances on general ledger
- Prepare all tax papers in regular basis and handle all information data requests
- Manage VAT and PAYE personnel
- Act as the key point of contact and support for our local and regional taxation matters
- Liaise with tax authorities and provide tax audit support for the Group
- Manage external tax authorities and consultants locally and regionally
- Review current and deferred tax provision
- Dispute resolution
- Mergers and acquisitions
- Maintain SARS e-filing
- Respond to technical queries
