Dis-Chem Pharmacies’ in Midrand has an opportunity available for a Medical Skin Specialist to join the team. The main purpose of this role will be to promote Bionike products and obtain new client base. The role will also be responsible for conducting training on the Bionike products.


Minimum Requirements:

Essential:

  • Grade 12/ Matric or Senior Certificate.
  • Diploma in Somatology.
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in Somatology or relevant field

Advantageous

  • Bachelor’s Degree

Job Description:

Brand Awareness:
  • Build Bionike awareness, promote sales to existing customers and new customers.
  • Demonstrate and train customers and cosmetics consultants/beauty therapists on the correct skin care routine.
  • Implement special sales activities to promote product in store.
  • Conduct regional store visits regularly to ensure smooth running of in-store promotions.
  • Create information banners with product specifications.
    Ensure correct merchandising is displayed on the isle, as well as pop ups in stores.
Research & Training:
  • Conduct research, complaints with the manufacturer and ensure that any unresolved issues are escalated to management.
  • Train Clinic Sisters, Pharmacist, Dermatologist as well as Oncology sisters on Bionike products.

Customer Service:
  • Advise and assist customers Medical Skin Services offered by Dis-Chem.
  • Identify and solve customer problems and requests with the skin care products.
  • Find and provide any information the customer needs as a Dis-Chem customer.
  • Use proper telephone etiquette when speaking with patients over the phone.

Administration:
  • Compile medical information.
  • Prepare information for Skin specialist that visits dermatologist etc.
  • Report any customer discrepancies to management.

General:
  • Adhere to Dis-Chem Policies, Code of Conduct, and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety rules and regulations.
  • Adhere to Dis-Chem Uniform and personal appearance policy.

  • Computer skills – Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
