Job Description

Dis-Chem Pharmacies has an opportunity available for an eCommerce Analyst at our Head Office in Midrand. To analyse internal and external eCommerce marketing trends and standards. Accurately report on the trends and come up with future forecast methods. To analyse external marketing trends in order to establish consumer behaviour to drive online consumer acquisition and brand loyalty.

Minimum Requirements…

Essential:

  • Grade 12 –Senior Certificate and B-Degree in Marketing/Analytics
  • Minimum of 2 – 5 years’ experience
  • Advanced skills with all Microsoft Office Software for the creation of management reports, Social Media Skills, Google analytics and GoogleTag Manager

Advantageous:

  • Relevant Computer Science Certificate

Job Specification…

Web Analytics:

  • To develop analytics strategy and strategies to collect data from website
  • Ensure consistent tracking, analysis and reporting of core website KPIs in various weekly and monthly Dashboards.
  • Analyse and report on customer engagement with the Dis-Chem online platform.
  • Provide input to the online process for continual improvements based on collected analytic data.
  • Provide recommendations on how to maximize revenue from the business website and app via product positioning and design elements.
  • Analyze and interpret e-commerce sales and performance records.
  • Conduct site updates to ensure error free and timely product launches.
  • To perform analysis of internal search and search effectiveness and conversation rate of products bought.
  • Test website efficiency for internet connection to check if it is fast and efficiency
Social Media and Digital Marketing
  • Ensure site catalogues are maintained and upload end-to-end product details across sites.
  • Implement cross selling techniques and improve customers buying experience by displaying breadth of Dis-chem product catalogue.
  • Identify similar products by bundling related products and adding visual aids.
  • Evaluate marketing campaigns by coordinating the development of analytics to enhance campaign performance and driving awareness
  • To use various media platforms such as social media, search engines and email campaigns to attract and facilitate purchases online
  • Conduct analysis on all social media platforms and search engine platforms and advice on campaigns to increase sales

Reporting
  • Create standard reports and dashboards in support of the e-commerce strategy.
  • Create reports on data gathered from web analytics and statistics.
  • Report on identified customer experience gaps, product performance and recommend improvements
  • To conduct A/B Testing (Split testing) and recommend best marketing method to management.
  • Generate ad hoc reporting for Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Business Planning and Product Management
Project Management
  • Participate in e-commerce projects to identify new measures to be implemented.
  • Ensure that online and digital marketing revenue meet targets.
  • Ensure all projects are complete on time and are in line with the projected budget.

Stakeholder Management
  • Ensure effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Timeously communicate the status of each project with relevant stakeholders

General:
