Dis-Chem Pharmacies in Delmas (Mpumalanga) has an opportunity available for a Senior Creditors Clerk. You will be required to do reconciliation and payment of CJ Supplier Accounts while assisting allocated team members with daily duties.

Essential:
- Grade 12 / Matric
- 2-3 years relevant experience working on accounts
Job Specification…
Account management and payment:
- Reconcile vendor accounts to prepare for payments.
- Ensure legal entities are correct on Invoices and Statements.
- Ensure that reconciliations are finalized and approved according to internal deadlines.
- Ensure correct reconciliation and timeous payment of invoices according to the payment terms.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices and claims which have not been credited the previous month.
- Resolve outstanding invoices and claims on reconciliation.
- Follow up on queries raised on accounts by supervisors.
- Maintain cordial lines of communication with suppliers and internal departments.
- Ensure queries raised on reconciliations by the Creditors Supervisor are resolved in time.
- Follow up on statuses of accounts against deadlines.
- Ensure that invoices have been correctly processed on account where necessary.
- Send work flow query invoices to procurement department and follow up on responses.
- Send work flow invoices to Invoice department for fixing timeously.
- Green flag invoices where possible.
- Ensure the team is properly trained and kept up to do date with any changes affecting their day to day duties.
- Take full responsibility for performance of all direct reports, motivating and managing them in relation to quality standards and agreed benchmarks and objectives, focusing on all aspects of sound people management.
- Allocate team members to deal with accounts where an accounts payable clerk is absent.
- Adhere to Dis-Chem Policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Adhere to Health and Safety rules and regulations.
