Dis-Chem Pharmacies’ Head Office in Midrand has an opportunity available for a Casual Clinic Category Administrator to join the team. The main purpose of this role will be to Assist the National Clinic Manger and Clinic Admin Supervisor to effectively address the clinic department’s administration while ensuring the Group complies with industry standards and regulations.
Minimum Requirements…
Essential:
- Grade 12 / Matric or a Senior Certificate
- 1 - 2 years’ relevant Clinic experience
- Computer skills – Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- English – Read, write and speak well.
Advantageous:
- Relevant Business Administration Undergraduate Qualification
- 2nd Additional language.
Job Specification…
- Assist in ensuring compliance with the industry`s legal requirements and develop strategies to promote and maintain these compliance practices.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practise standards and develop strategies to promote and maintain these compliance practices.
- Assist in the execution of clinical administrative policies and actions to enhance patient care programs.
- Assist with ordering of stock and clinic equipment for the various Dis-Chem clinics according to Dis-Chem standard operating procedures.
- Ensure all corporate stock order queries and stock write offs for clinics and DC’s are escalated to the correct person.
- Assist with the planning and implementation of clinic initiatives.
- Assist with identifying and implementing best practice standards and clinical protocol information and procedures.
- Ensure the clinic consistently operates according to a high standard and to industry and Dis-Chem standard operating procedures.
- Assist in identifying methods to improve communication among employees in the clinical environment.
- Give management monthly and up to date feedback regarding clinic matters.
- Assist with the identification of clinic development needs and drive participation.
- Order clinical equipment, stationary, groceries, supplies etc. as and when necessary.
- Supervise stock supplies and handle clinic calendar regarding new store openings according to the Dis-Chem clinic annual objectives and strategies.
- Assist with clinic queries received via phone or email.
- Assist in establishing administrative clinic specific policies and oversee system standard work.
- Assist in managing leave, working hours and overtime for clinic staff members.
- Ensure the processing of the contraception list for salary deductions for DC clinics.
- Adhere to Dis-Chem Policies and Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures.
- Adhere to Dis-Chem Uniform and personal appearance policy.
